Profile of a Woman with Blue Hair from November 1938 is displayed in Las Vegas for the very first time this July.

The oil on canvas portrait by Pablo Picasso, which features Dora Maar, one of his lovers, has never been seen by the public before and has been donated by the Picasso family estate.

In an exhibition featuring 43 works by Picasso, Profile of a Woman with Blue Hair shows what the gallery calls “the eccentric and dramatic relationship between the couple using a dark palette, distorted eyes, sharp angles and straight lines.”
