Keith Haring’s Lucky Strike (complete set), 1987
In 1987, Keith Haring was invited to reinterpret the visual identity of Lucky Strike cigarettes. The result was a suite of five screenprints, co-published by Edition Pierre Keller and British American Tobacco. Haring set the brand’s familiar logo among his signature bold lines, simplified figures and vivid colour, turning advertising into something unmistakably his own.
The thick, graffiti-like contours recall the street culture of the 1980s that shaped Haring’s career, and they show how easily his visual language moved into commercial design. Each print in the suite is signed and numbered in a limited edition.
