RETNA, born Marquis Lewis in 1979, is a renowned contemporary artist from Los Angeles known for his fusion of graffiti, calligraphy, and ancient scripts. His unique typographic style draws influences from hieroglyphs, Blackletter, Arabic, Hebrew, and Asian calligraphy, creating an intricate visual language. Emerging from LA’s graffiti scene, RETNA's works have since been showcased in galleries and exhibitions globally.

Leah has worked closely with museums, galleries and independent artists and designers in London and Paris since 2015. She studied photography at the University of the Arts London, and has an MA in Experience Design from the Royal College of Art.
