RETNA, born Marquis Lewis in 1979, is a renowned contemporary artist from Los Angeles known for his fusion of graffiti, calligraphy, and ancient scripts. His unique typographic style draws influences from hieroglyphs, Blackletter, Arabic, Hebrew, and Asian calligraphy, creating an intricate visual language.
