Miss Led is an artist and illustrator who lives and works in East London. Obsessed with clean lines, curvature and arresting portraiture, she is perpetually evolving in the exploration of drawn and painted imagery. Her inspirations scale the Pre-Raphaelites, Jamie Hewlett, Beardsley, fashion photography, Alexander McQueen and 1990s street art.
After studying fine art with Goldsmiths in Portsmouth, shortly after graduating she was exhibiting across London, including the Saatchi Gallery. Miss Led began her career as a street artist, known for her live drawing events and bespoke murals, before moving into illustration with UK & international clients in publishing, fashion, advertising & new media. Miss Led has illustrated everything from book covers to advertising campaigns, covered walls in high end boutiques and luxury properties, and live-painted in events in both London and Europe in front of thousands of people. Her canvases include cars, barges and even department store windows.
